He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Baker and Lillie Baker; his sister Helen Strong; and his son Kenneth Baker. He is survived by: his wife Julie Mae Baker; and his daughters, Stella Phelps of Ashland and Mary Ann Edmondson (James). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 29 great- grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.
