She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thelman Mattox and Eleanor Laverne Jones; and her siblings, James Mattox, Edward Mattox, Billy Mattox, Dottie Patterson, Sara Mask, Louneal Ingram and Margie Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Edward James; her children, Dianna Strickland (Jamie), Dionna Ferguson (Jamie) and George Richardson (Lesley); and her grandchildren, Jamie Richardson, Kimberly Griggs, Amber Dubus, John Caldwell, Micah Patterson, Brooklyn Shae Yates, April Cheyenne Willis, Autumn Lynn Kuykendall, Logan Tucker and Aly Tucker.
