He was predeceased by: his son Dennis; his parents, Henry Martin Bean and Alma Daughtry Bean; his wives, Sadie Young Bean, Billie Taylor Bean and Ethel Key Bean; and his grandson Mark Medlock.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Bean (Janie), Denise Medlock (Jon), Donna, Deana Brewer (Jim), Stephen Bean (JB), Sherry Yarbrough, Kathy Florence, Wanda White, Judy Swaim, Faye Vitale, Myra Browning, Debra Pufahl and Robert Fincher; his grandchildren, Matthew Medlock (Helen), Meagan Williams (Aaron), Christian Steele, Tyler Brewer (Sarah), Clayton Brewer (Autumn), Mary Esther Maxwell (Kevin) and Bianca Bean; his great grandchildren, Emerson, Iris, Eliana, Madeline, Landon, Mia, Clara Jane, Kit and Abel; and his sisters, Joan Cox and Ann Hughes. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home - Lineville (89076 AL-9, Lineville, AL 36266). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
