He is survived by: his wife Annie Helen Evans; his children, Monroe Evans, Jr., Richard Thompson and Marcella Scott (Michael); his grandchildren, Tyrese, Tykia Robbins and Adrian Evans; his siblings, Maggie Dixon, Gloria Huddleston, Faye Evans, Susie Jackson (Arthur), Fred Evans (Cheryl) and Michael Evans; his siblings-in-law, Dianna Evans, Walterine Evans, Evelyn Marie Evans, Leon Williams, Charles Williams and Tyrone Williams; and his close friends, John L. Stephens, Greg Arnold, Bill Smith, Johnny Grice, Curtis Bonner, Jr., Richard Grice, Biven Gilbert and Tyler Edwards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
