He was predeceased by: his parents, Emzie Jones, Sr. and Claudie Jones; and his siblings, Ronald, Forest, Toney, Carl and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Haynes Jones; his sister Linda Jones; his son David Jones of Chicago, IL; and his stepsons, David, Daniel and Derick Haynes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Fellowship Church (12379 Co Rd 32, Lisman, AL 36912).
