It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Tolbert of Locust Fork, Alabama, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Cary Tolbert; his father Jackie Tolbert; his stepfather Charles Akers; and his grandparents, L. H. Brannon, Audy Brannon, Ellie B. Roberts and Clara Roberts.

He is survived by: his mother Pat Akers; his brother Shaun Tolbert; his children, Lexi and Mason; his stepdaughter Kaysie; and the mother of his children Jennifer Tolbert0. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home (225 Dana Rd, Warrior, AL 35180). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
