He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jean Rogers; his children, Tamara Ann Freeman (Eddie), Teri Lynn Rogers and Walter Tyrone Rogers II; and his grandchildren, Miranda Lynn Fohner (Timothy), Hannah Lynn Walker (Matthew), Haley Ann Oakley (Daniel), Tyler Wayne Smith and Bella Reese Rogers.
