William Richard North Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of William Richard North in Logan, Alabama is shared. William, born on July 26, 1961, passed away on June 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though William is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. William’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his father Henry Hiram. He is survived by: his mother Thadis Wiggins North; his brother Steven North (Louise); his sons, James Fletcher North and William Treadway North; the mother of his children Elizabeth Treadway Bruton; his niece Anna Laurence North; his nephew Thaddeus Ross North; and his close friends, Lara Bush Butler and Woody.

In lieu of flowers donations are encouraged to any of the Cumberland School of Law's charitable initiatives.
