In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph Wellington is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph Wellington's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jimmie Lee and Louise Jackson; his daughters, Cecily Jackson and Sametta Jackson Parker; his grandchildren, Zeta Conrad and John Joshua Parker; and his siblings, Jimmie Jackson (Rosa), Cheryl Lewis (Lenard) and Larry Jackson (Patricia). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, extended family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Tuskegee University General Scholarship Fund.
