She was predeceased by: her daughter Darlene Benson (Scott); and her parents, Harvey Franklin and Jennie Franklin. She is survived by: her children, Darrell Davis (Lana) and Diantha Miller (Gary); her grandchildren, Tonya Roberts, John Roberts (Tiffany), Kristyna Martin, Brittney Calvert, Ginny Needham (Sam), Regan Miller, Isaac Lopez- (Karen) of Montana and Adam "A. J." Lopez- (Nicky) of Montana; and her siblings, Matthew Franklin, Nathan Franklin (Sherry), Elizabeth Zeigler, Marietta King, James "Bub" Franklin, William Franklin, Garmon Franklin, Frances Gann and Omega Franklin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many other relatives and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Loxley Church of God (5220 N Hickory St, Loxley, AL 36551). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pine Crest Cemetery. A burial was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at the same location.
