She is survived by: her children, Abner Sanders, Jackie Sanders (Linda), Kenneth Sanders (Wanda), Jesse Sanders (Jennifer), Marie Freligh (Larry), Josie Bell Mitchell (David), Teresa Holstead (James), Mary Ann Jablonski (July) and Tracy Horn; her sister Murlene Petty; and her sister-in-law Tula Reeves. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
