He was predeceased by: his son Brent Glidewell; his parents, Richard Alvin and Betty Jean Lawrence Baker; and his brother DeWayne Baker. He is survived by: his wife Wanda June Baker; his children, Byron Baker (Calaine Darby), Robby Baker (Melinda) and Christy Williams (Mark); his grandchildren, Kody, Brody, Caden, Gavin, Brooklyn and Dalton; his sister Betty Mock; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Presley, Teresa Lassiter and Ricky Barnett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship (1184 Airport Rd, Luverne, AL 36049).
