She was loved and cherished by many people including : her adoptive daughters, Charday Jackson of Atlanta, GA and Precious Jackson of Cleveland, OH; her nieces, Jackie Graham of Cleveland, OH, Beverly Bryant (John) of Tucson, AZ and Skylar Jackson of Cleveland, OH; her nephew Moses Street of Buffalo, NY; her goddaughter Felicia Darby of Luverne, AL.; and her close friends, Muriel Bogan, Samella Terrell-Edwards, Linda Perry-Forbes, Hassie Green, LaFredia Griffin, Walter Ray "Crow" Hamilton, Dwane Jackson, Ira Bell Jackson, Gilda Jackson, Charlie Johnson, Yvonne Noble, Barbara Paulding, Bessie Reddock, Sandra Riggins, Linda Sims, Mellie Shakespeare, Kim Shakespeare, Faye Stroud, Lucy Summerlin, Cynthia Taylor and Michael Terrell. She was also cherished by her nieces and a nephew after the death of their grandmother.

“Helen (Sister) Williams was a dear cousin to me, my brother Johnnie, and my younger sister Denise. Sister was an important part of my life. She took care us with our grandmother (Mama Callie).
