He was predeceased by: his wives, Patricia Barr Pittman and Betty Pippin; his granddaughters, Kimberly Hodson and Patricia Miller; his great grandchild Zander Powell; his parents, William Angus and Mattie Lou Stephens Pittman; and his siblings, Louise Smith, William Pittman, Joseph Pittman and Mary Kate Pittman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Summerall (Daniel) and Rhonda Pittman Smith (Eldade "Kirk" Kirkland); his grandchildren, Kristy Flores (Oscar), Patrick Smith (Vickie) and Elise Smith; his grandsons-in-law, Robbie Hodson and John Miller; his great grandchildren, Bryanna Crespo (Fernando), Kevin Peters, Madelynn Dunn, Cydney Peters, Skylar Powell and Jon Miller Jr.; his great great grandchildren, Patrick Smith, Emmitt Shearer and Midna White; and his brother Billy Pittman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
