He is survived by : his children, Joe David, Jr., Michale Antonio and Ja'Marra Davina (Richard); his grandchildren, David Diamond, Lajoya Furge, Michale Lawhorn II, Sasha Desha Lawhorn, Marcellus Quantez Lawhorn, Zeric Quantez Lawhorn Jr., Marcus JuAnquez Lawhorn, Jamia ReNae Carlise, Dontavious Jamel Tasby, Brooklyn Ladera Brown and Eden Jade Brown; his great grandchildren, Kayson Diamond, Robert Diamond, Malachi Woodard, Aliyah Tiea Lawhorn and Alana Caprice Alexandria Lawhorn; his sister Mattie Lue Fitzpatrick (William "Pete"); and his aunts, Nellie Parham, Annette Parham and Annie Lee Thompson (Wayne).
