She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Sowell and Ophelia Patrick Sowell; her husband Frederick "Fritz" Haugh; and her siblings, John B. Sowell and Barbara Sowell Vinesett.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Dr. John C. Sowell, Luke Vinesett of Hendersonville, Sally Sowell Howell of Kure Beach and Donna Pharr of Charlotte.
