She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Emma Pettus of Brantley and William "Roe" Pettus of Glenwood, AL; her brother Milton Monroe "Beau" Pettus; and her grandparents, George Leonard, Norma Clyde Pinckard Williamson of Brantley, Monroe and Julia Pettus of Glenwood.
She is survived by: her sisters, Susan Schexnayder (Tom), Marsha R. Pettus, Margo P. Ashford (Brian) and Dianne Russell (Monty); and her siblings' children, Matthew Schexnayder, Courtney, Ben, Joshua, Colette Emma, Cecilia Schexnayder, Lucille, Rob, Sarah, Jadyn, Robert O'Neil Melby, Emily, Michael, Graeme, William Hale, Julia, Jeffrey, Timothy Carter, Lyndsie (Joe), Lelia and Jocelyn Hudson. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brantley Baptist Church (9318 N Main St, Brantley, AL 36009). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
