He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Nolley Jones; his parents, Paul Mitchell and Verby Kennedy Jones; and his brother James Leon Jones. He is survived by: his friend Christian; his children, Johnny Jones (Stacey) and Judy Robertson (Kent); his grandchildren, Zane Jones (Alaina), Libbey Jones, Kennedy Robertson and John Douglas Robertson; his great grandchild Eleanor Kate Jones; his sister Peggy Stephens; his sister-in-law Donna K. Jones; and his close friend Morris Vanlandingham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
