We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024, at the age of 54, Waylon Eugene Commander of Luverne, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his father Walton Eugene Commander; and his grandparents, Lewis, Martha Strickland, Shorty and Mildred Commander.
He is survived by : his wife Dorthey Kelley Commander; his children, Cheyenne Joel Commander and Lewis Dalton Commander; his mother Rebecca Strickland Commander; his brother Quentin Commander (Kim); his siblings-in-law, Michelle Bynog (Travis) and Bubba Kelley (Amanda); his nieces and nephews, Jamie Commander, Johnathon Bynog (Niki), Alexis Donaldson (Shane), Bailey Kelley, Christopher Moseley, JD Moseley and Jacob Moseley; his great-nieces, Adalynn Bynog and Emery Donaldson; and his aunts, Shirley Strickland and Sally Evans. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.
