He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dodd and Ella Wallace Dodd; his son Tony Dodd; and his granddaughter Oaklynn Kay Elizabeth Pratt. He is survived by: his wife Diane Dodd; his children, Alisa Tidwell, Keshia Franks (Anthony), Kimberly Hogan (George), Danielle Dodd (Austin Herod), Brittany Cheatham (James Pratt), Angie Roberts and Sandy Scott; his brothers, Charles Dodd and Jerome Dodd; and his niece Leigh Ann Dodd. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel (981 AL-253, Winfield, AL 35594). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
