She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. Golden and Learon Moses Golden; her sister Sara Byford; her sibling's children, Billy Joe Byford and Deborah "Debi" Byford; and her pets, Sissy, Jake and JoJo.

She is survived by: her children, Deanna Austin Wallace (Roy) and Edward Austin (Linnea); and her grandsons, Ian, Tyler, Taylor, Riley and Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Brookdale Cedar Springs in Decatur, Alabama or to Decatur Animal Services.
