He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry John and Leah Frances Landon Bartlow; his former wife Paula; his brothers, Brian Williams Bartlow and Alan Lee Bartlow (Buddy); and his wife Iona Bright Miles Bartlow.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Persson Bartlow; his sons, Byron (Susan) of Madison and Robert (Shalamar) of Eagan, MN; his former spouses, James Jones (Angel) of Olive Branch, MS and Bryan Jones (Amy) of Toney, AL; and his friend Girard. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, as well as cousins, in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel (2320 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
