He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Knapp and Ruth Knapp. He is survived by : his children, Natalie Rickert (Ryan), Sarah Barnes (Tommy), Sam Knapp, Mary Beth Vaughn (Chris) and Rachel Knapp; his grandchildren, Alethea, London, Haven, Alistair Rickert and Thomas Barnes; and his siblings, Nancy Hurley (John), Carol Kociscak (Bill) and Bob Knapp. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
