She was predeceased by : her husband Cecil H. Brooks; her son Cecil Jr.; her granddaughter Julie Terrell; her parents, Harry Claude Gurley and Annie Mae Clark; and her brother Vernard Gurley.

She is survived by : her sons, Jerry (Shirley) and Terry (Page); and her grandchildren, Shawn, Justin, Ryan and Ashley Yeager. She is also survived by spouses; twelve beautiful great grandchildren.
