With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Richard Blocker (Madison, Alabama), born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maureen Saliba Blocker and Frank Blocker Senior; and his siblings, Sarah Blocker Booty and Frank Blocker Junior. He is survived by: his daughter Ana Arellano; his granddaughter Izzy; his caregiver Mary Dupree; his brother-in-law Phil Booty; his niece Kathy Windham (David); his great-nephew Austin Windham (Holley); his nephew James Booty; his niece Kandace Plinske (Larry); his great-nephews, Cameron Herring (Taylor) and Cody Plinske; his cousins, Fred Barkett (Gail), Sue Switzer (Don), Kathy Buchon (Fran), Betty Barkett and Jan Lisenby (James); and also Marsha Thomason Blocker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Asbury Church (980 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758).
