He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain Robert O. Strange and Martha Bowen Strange. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, John Strange Jr. (Mindy) and Michael Strange (Allyson); his grandson Mason Strange; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Strange and Georgia "Candy" Gerstein. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
