With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynda Tate Doud of Madison, Alabama, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lynda Tate departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lynda Tate may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lynda Tate leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnye "Tibbie" Martin Tate and Roy Tate; her sister Nancy; her brother-in-law Robert Thibodeau (Bob); her aunt Jessie Martin; and her uncle Eugene H. Martin.
She is survived by: her niece Libby Marbury (Don Stevens) of Louisville, KY; and her cousins, Lisa Smith of Madison, AL and Donald Martin of Madison, AL. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
