She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Giles and Rhoda Giles; her husband Mark Stone; and her great grandchild Joshua Lingo. She is survived by: her children, Jonmark and Cheryl (Greg); her grandchildren, Jason Weir, Allison Lingo (Tim), Chris Horlick (Yupha) and Bethany Sheehy (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Dylan and Gracie Lingo.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Legacy Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory (16 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the London Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery (2460 Potters Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made online or directly to Asbury Church in memory of Joshua Lingo, her great grandson, to support the student and college ministries.
