It is with sadness that the passing of Rhoda Kay Kitchen of Madison, Alabama is shared. Rhoda, born on November 3, 1940, passed away on June 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Rhoda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Rhoda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Rhoda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Rhoda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Natale Nastase and Kathryn Johns Nastase; and her husband Roger W. Kitchen Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Nikki Kitchen-Wenrich and Roger Kitchen Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sandi Kitchen; her brother Gary Nastase; and her grandchildren, Laura Wenrich, Roger Kitchen III and Michael Kitchen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to St. Joseph's Indian School in Chamberlain, South Dakota.
