He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie B. Washington and Mary Eliza Scruggs Washington. He is survived by: his children, Larry Tisdale of Harvest, Carolyn Washington (Wyche) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Zanderia Davis of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Nancy Washington Vaughn; and also Wallace Hunter Vaughn. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the NAACP Huntsville, Alabama Chapter which is an organization that Mr. Washington was deeply passionate about and regularly supported financially.
