He is survived by: his wife Shirlana Haythorn; his daughter Mary Zappe; his son-in-law Richard Zappe; his grandchildren, Charlotte and Oliver; his brother J. Denny; and his sister-in-law Lori Haythorn. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
