He was predeceased by: his parents, Soo Hwa Chong (Yong Au) and Yon Ung; and his son Moon Gyo Chong. He is survived by: his wife Ui Sun; his daughters, Min Suk Chong, Jenny Suk Chin Owen (Jay) and Erin Yun Hui Hudson (Benton); and his grandchildren, Ruby Hudson, Ryan Owen, Noah Owen and Edie Hudson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory (16 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
