We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2025, at the age of 79, Ernest Cooley of Magnolia Springs, Alabama, born in Iowa City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Perkins Cooley; his children, Chris Yarbrough, Royce McGee and David McGee; and his parents, Wilford Ralph and Vera Gatrelle Cooley.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Cooley (Chantell) of Elberta, AL and Brenda Vick (Lane) of Magnolia Springs, AL; his sisters, Robin, Janie and Beverly; and his grandchildren, Jared McGee, Heather Quinn, Jessica Kristie, Hayden McGee, Brooke Noles and Dylan Cooley. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Norris Funeral Home (402 E 2nd St, Bay Minette, AL 36507).
