We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Maudie Godwin of Malvern, Alabama, born in Geneva, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Plez Cochran and Retta Pippin Cochran; her husband Moody Godwin; her daughter Bebbie Davis (Bobby); her siblings, Clarence Cochran and Shirley Loftin; and her son-in-law Eddie Goad.

She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Goad, Ann Hall (Wayne), Fadette and Jackie Quattlebaum (Roger); and her sisters, Ludea Williams (Charles) and Peggy Kiddy (Nip). She is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Sorrells F. (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
