He is survived by : his wife Shirley Dianne Carter of Maplesville; his children, Laura Harvey (Ted) of Duncanville, Shirley Smitherman (Larry) of Clanton, Michelle Brady of Maplesville, Millissa Carter of Plantersville, Misty Ramsey (Chris) of Clanton, Allen Carter (Tabatha) of Maplesville and Summer Hollis of Maplesville; and his siblings, Tom Carter of Maplesville and Shirley Wallace (Dwight) of Maplesville. He is also survived by 25 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren.
