He was predeceased by: his parents, James Claude Moore and Vera Belle Potts Moore; his daughter Lynn Moore Dale; and his siblings, James Donald Moore (Betty), Claudia Mueller (Theodore), Vera Belle Karrick and Sara Moore (W. J.).
He is survived by: his wife Christine Gilmer Moore; his son John Thomas Moore Jr. (Vicky); his son-in-law John Laurie Dale III; his grandchildren, Thomas Kennith Moore (MaryBlan), Anna Moore Epperson (Weston), Laurie Dale Pearson (Ryan) and Olivia Moore Dale; and his great grandchildren, Carlisle Moore, Callan Epperson, Marlowe Epperson, Ellawyn Epperson and John Patrick Pearson.
