Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Charles will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dycie Perry Nichols. He is survived by: his children, Robin Ray (Earl), Marty Nichols, Judy Nichols, Shay Nichols, Jenny Hughey (Bryan) and Jill Fischer (Mike). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren, along with numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ephesus Baptist Church. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Ephesus Cemetery (1400 Ephesus Lp, Marion, AL 36756). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Adjoining Cemetery.
