With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fletcher Brooks Moore of Marion, Alabama, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Marian Foreman Moore. He is survived by : his sons, Larry Moore (Annette) and Ron Moore (Ann); his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael (Mackenzie), Callie and Brooks; and his great grandchild Grady.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Heiberger United Methodist Church (123 Jericho Road, MARION, AL). Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntsville. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Brooks and Marian Moore Endowed Scholarship Fund at Auburn University, Heiberger Methodist Church in Heiberger, Alabama, Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntsville, or the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.
