It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Wesley Cook Jr. of Marion, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cook and Mittie Jackson Cook; and his daughter Amber Cook Unger. He is survived by: his wife Jewell Tolar Cook of Marion; his daughters, Cynthia Patterson (James) of Plantersville, AL and Brenda Cook (Mitch Nicholas) of Marion; his son-in-law Mike Unger of Leesburg; his granddaughter Candace Ratcliffe of Marion; his siblings, Geneva O'Donnell of Branford, CT and Jimmy Cook of Marion; and his pet Lovie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
