Lucius L Rayfield Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucius L Rayfield of Marion, Alabama, who passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wert Rayfield and Jessie Lee Moore Rayfield; his wife Sherrell Ann Hobbs; and his sister Jean Rayfield Parrish. He is survived by: his children, Lucius Allen Rayfield (Lisa) and Kimbrell Ann Rayfield; his grandchildren, Jackson Rayfield (Michelle), Dakota Rayfield, Colby Smith (Summer) and Sherrell Ann Ryan (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Lynnden Ann Smith, Lucius Smith, Layton Smith, Fisher Ryan, Gemma Kate Ryan and Ashton King Rayfield; and his close friends, Betty Cleary, Joyce Smith, Dreania Chandler, Barbara Rutledge and Dorothy Lee.

In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Marion Cemetery fund.
