She was predeceased by : her parents, Viola Marie Dixon Arnold and John Edward Arnold; her husband James Earl Smith Sr.; her siblings, Ida May Arnold Smith and Edward Eugene Arnold; and her son Gerald Wayne Smith.
She is survived by : her children, Brenda Jean Smith Douglas (Joe), James Earl Smith Jr. and John E. Smith (Deniese); her grandchildren, Joey Douglas, Leslie Hardin (Nathan) and Tiffany Belk (Jay); and her great grandchild Nate Hardin.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Waycross Bible Methodist Church Cemetery.
