It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Leverett Barton of Marion, Alabama, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Irvin Leverett and Johnny Lou Patterson Leverett; her husband Burnis Clair Barton; and her sister Irvine Herrod. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Alexander Barton and Kenneth Leverett Barton; and her stepsons, Franklin Eugene Barton, Wallace Carleton Barton, James Donovan Barton and Burnis Dudley Barton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
