She was predeceased by: her husband Larry H. Sims; and her parents, Norma G. Drew-Putnam and Archie M. Putnam. She is survived by: her children, Keri Sims of Memphis, Tennessee, Mark Sims (Elsie) of Orlando, Florida and Matthew Sims of Maylene, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Ryan Sims Hoover (Corey) and AnnaRose Sims of Winfield.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Park Cemetery (2025 S Broadway St, Pittsburg, KS 66762).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
