It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gustave Norris McKenzie of Maylene, Alabama, born in Brilliant, Alabama, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Heidi Beard (Ken), Jake McKenzie (Carly) and Matthew McKenzie (Nat); her grandchildren, Jessica, Alaina, Alexis, Vaughn, Fletcher, Grant, Tyler and Everett; her stepgrandchildren, Kayla and JB; and her great grandchildren, Melody and Eddie.
