She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nelson Tinker and Jessie Tinker; her sister Nancy Reid; her children, Chris Dickey (Lisa), Camilla Dickey Gorham, Caye Dickey Alexander, Carol Dickey Lowe (David) and Connie Dickey Gafnea (Ronald); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Rachel Dickey, Jenifer, Camron Hardin, Candace Gorham, Jennifer Alexander Evans, Rebecca Alexander Bowden, Catherine Ann Roden Jones and Julie Ann Gafnea; and her friends, Sarah Neny, Betty Ridley, Tom Pope, Tuiren Bratina, Phil and Jack Nicholson. She was also cherished by many step grandchildren, great & step great grandchildren & step step great grandchildren as well as many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
