He was predeceased by : his sisters, Patsy Jones Clifton and Edwina Gilbert Greenwood (Lois Norris Gilbert) of Oak Grove, Alabama.. He is survived by : his daughter Vickie H. Ames; his grandson Timothy L. Ames (Ashley Ames); his great grandchild Kayleigh E. Ames; his sister Connie Hartsfield; and his wife Lois Gilbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
