She was predeceased by : her parents, William "Bud" Champion and Wanda Champion; and her brothers, Oscar Champion and Randy Lucas. She is survived by : her siblings, Greg Lucas (Margaret), Susie Green Kelly Smitherman and Jill Lucas (Randy Garner).

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Pelham and Children's Hospital of Birmingham.
