He was predeceased by : his parents, Berlie Aldridge and Fay Aldridge; his brother Berlie Gene; and his granddaughter Kaylie Odom. He is survived by : his wife Myra (Billie); his daughters, Lisa Jones (Billy) and Kim Aldridge; his grandchildren, Cory Jones (Erin) and Courtney Wise (Hunter); his great grandchildren, Riley, Baker and Brewer; his siblings, Terry (Marilyn) and Linda Duke (David); and his close friend Gordon Bradley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Compassus Hospice, Birmingham, Alabama and Grace Life Baptist Church, McCalla, Alabama.
