He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Brown and Roberta Brown; and his siblings, Donnie Brown, Jerry Brown, Wayne Brown and Linda Shiver.
He is survived by: his sisters, Denise Allison (Ben) and Nina Castle; his daughters, Sharon DeFresse (John) and Alison Dagnan (Michael); and his grandchildren, Phillip Defreese (Alyssa), Jacob DeFreese, Mary Owens (Michael), Gage Dagnan (Payton) and Camron Dagnan. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244).
