He is survived by : his wife Deborah Martin Marshurn; his daughters, Jeni Charisse Bowen (Brandon) of Tuscaloosa and Mechelle Jean Taylor of Pensacola; his grandchildren, Caleb Jacob Spears, Stetson Shawn Cuchens, Austin Kade Smith, Noah Groves Bowen, Hannon Wellls Bowen and Jada Marlee Moore; his great grandchildren, Cody Jacob Spears and Braxton Dean Spears; his father-in-law Gary Lee Abston; and his sister-in-law Cathy Martin Boutte (Terry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
